Founder & Executive Director
Lakeia Sales
Lakeia is a Americus native who graduated from Americus Sumter High School with honors. She continued her education at Howard University, where she received a Bachelors of Science degree in Pre Medicine: Sports Medicine and Biology. She is currently pursuing her Masters. Lakeia continued her education after returning home by entering into a Certification Program. She is currently an educator in Sumter County. After returning home from college, she also started her own businesses, The Redefined Branding & Wholesale Company Inc., and Refine Learning Tutorial and Educational Services. Giving back to her community is what Lakeia loves to do. Making a difference in the lives of others is truly her passion! Lakeia has served as a Youth and Community advocate in multiple capacities, she has served as the Branch Director of a Global Non-profit that benefits youth through mentoring services. She has also served as Director of the Boy's and Girls Club Summer Program, Head Coach of the Girls Track Team at her local Middle School, and as an Advisor for multiple youth organizations. Lakeia's belief in community comes from her upbringing of having a close knit family and a village of inspirational teachers, mentors, and church members who all played a vital role in her growth and development as a lady and she desires to continue to make an impact in the lives of young rural girls from her community.

Lynetta Tatum
Lynetta is a Americus, Georgia native. She graduated from Americus Sumter High School in 2014 with Honors, She continued her education at Georgia Southern University and received a Bachelors of Science degree in Health and Kinesiology. She is currently pursing her Masters degree in Healthcare Administration. After returning home from college, Lynetta became employed in the Healthcare field and plans to continue to become an Advocate in her community. Lynetta started her own business in the Hair/ Beauty Field, she currently serves as the CEO of Uniquely Stitched by Nique. Lynetta states that her journey in Entrepreneurship has not been easy, however it has been rewarding. Lynetta desires to make a true difference in her own community by exposing young ladies to more opportunities. Lynetta states that her goal is, "To be the person that I wish I had growing up" Lynetta states that she wants to see, " Brown girls realize their potential and acknowledge their self-worth, because then they really activate their superpowers!"
